Songs and Stage Mode
Build complete songs from rhythm segments and switch them quickly on stage
Song management
The song list lets you combine multiple rhythm presets into a complete song structure.
Create a song
- Tap the + button in the top-right corner
- Enter a song name (up to 20 characters)
- Tap Add Segment and choose a preset from the list
- Repeat to add more segments, up to 8
- Tap Save
Segment management
Each segment references one preset and can override tempo and bar count:

| BPM | Segment tempo, which can override the preset value |
| Bars | Segment length from 1 to 64 bars |
| Sound | Selected sound library |
Tip: BPM overrides are highlighted in green when they differ from the preset.
Edit a song
- Segment order: long-press and drag to reorder
- Segment settings: tap a segment row to edit
- Delete segment: tap the trash icon on the right
Stage mode
Stage mode is designed for live performance and reliable one-tap switching between rhythm segments.
Enter stage mode
From the song list, tap the purple note icon on the right side of a song card.
Note: the screen stays awake so the display remains visible during performance.

Start:Tap any segment button
Stop:Tap the currently playing segment button
Switch:Tap another segment while playing for an immediate transition

Suggested workflow
- Create presets on the metronome page
- Build songs from those presets in the song list
- Tune BPM and bar count for each segment
- Rehearse in stage mode
- Use stage mode for live switching during performance
Stage mode tips
- Double-check segment order before performing
- Memorize button positions to avoid mistakes on stage
- Keep an eye on battery level because stage mode keeps the screen awake
FAQ
Q: How many songs can I create?
Up to 10 songs, with up to 8 segments each.
Q: Can I edit rhythms inside stage mode?
No. Stage mode is read-only. Exit to the metronome page to edit presets.
Q: Will tapping back interrupt a performance?
No. Active playback requires explicit confirmation before stopping and leaving.
